Saturday 30th May
As we had been invited to a family wedding in Dublin, we decided to make a full weekend of it and enter Isaac at the European Winners Show. The wedding on the Saturday was fabulous and took place at Mullingar near Dublin. Isaac even came to the evening reception and was very well behaved apart from the few times that we had to stop him from licking ladies' feet!!
On the Monday we went off to the European Winner Dog Show at the R.D.S. at Ballsbridge. It was a lovely venue and the weather was perhaps just a bit too hot.
Isaac won his Open Dog class and went on to get Best of Breed, gaining a CACIB and a Green Star!
The judge was Dr Miklos Levente from Hungary who certainly made us work for our places - I have never run round the ring so many times!! The main ring was big and although we didnt get anywhere in the group it was an experience for us both. Isaac's ears were up like stalks when the applause started and he got very excited, jumping up several times! Even though my knee is still giving me jip it was well worth it!!! Hopefully there will be some photos to follow as camcorder is being mended as we speak!
Friday 10th April
Finally, the full results from the Lancs & Cheshire Championship Show. Judge was Valerie Lockhart (Chetruda). It was a super day as Isaac won his Limit Dog class going on to be awarded the Dog CC and finally Best In Show! Winne was 3rd in Puppy Bitch and 2nd in Novice Bitch and finally, Pippin was 2nd in Veteran Bitch. Overall, a super day for our small kennel. Thank you for all the good wishes and congratulations messages left on our Guestbook. Hopefully a photo or two to follow soon.....
